Distance Site Staff Pastor -
Brian McDonald currently serves as Pastor of Faith Assembly of God in Texarkana, AR. He has traveled the United States and preached crusades and planted churches in South America, as well as ministered in England, Africa and Israel. He married Pamela Mahathy in 1993 and recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. Ministering to the flock of God has been a lifelong calling for Pastor McDonald and at its origin lies the love of evangelism. He is characterized by his fellow ministers as a Pentecostal preacher and over the past 33 years of ministry has seen multitudes receive salvation, the baptism of the Holy Ghost and accept the call of ministry.
Meet our new professor Dawna Rogers Montanelli. We are very excited to add her to the NorthPoint Texarkana teaching staff. Please help us welcome her!!
Mrs. Dawna Montanelli is a professor of history for Northpoint Bible College at Faith Assembly of God in Texarkana, Arkansas. She is also a professor of geography, government, and history at Texarkana College where she additionally teaches biblical geography through the Continuing Education division. Professor Montanelli has taught undergraduates for 15 years and has been a student adviser for 6 years. Prior to teaching, she was the Financial Aid Director for 5 years at TC. She earned her master’s degree in history from Texas A & M University – Texarkana in 2003 and earned graduate minors in geography and political science afterward.
Meet our new Professor Trudy Jackson!! Trudy will be teaching Missio Dei this spring semester. We are very thankful for her to be a part of NorthPoint Texarkana. Please help us welcome her to the NorthPoint family!!!
Trudy was a missionary for over 23 years in Micronesia, Islands in the Pacific Ocean. During her time overseas, she was a teacher at Micronesia Bible College and the director for Chi Alpha Campus Ministry on the College of Micronesia campus. She and her husband were also the pastors of International Christian Fellowship Church in Pohnpei, Micronesia. Trudy is married to Rev. Scott Jackson, and they have one daughter, Shirleyna. Currently, the Jacksons are Arkansas A/G District Missionary Church Planters in Lewisville, Arkansas.
Trudy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Arts in Missiology (Intercultural Relations) from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Distance Site Coordinator -
Amber is the Distance Site Coordinator for Northpoint Bible College at Faith Assembly of God in Texarkana, Arkansas. She is also a junior high English & music teacher at Trinity Christian School. She completed her Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership at SUM. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina. She knew at an early age, that God was asking her to spend her life contributing to the well-being of others.
Just as Jesus walked this earth serving others, God’s will for her in life is to do the same. Amber attends Faith Assembly of God and serves on the worship team. She’s also a Missionettes teacher for high school girls. As she walks steadfastly with the Lord, she looks forward to every door of ministry He graciously opens.
NorthPoint Texarkana is excited to welcome Dusty Small to our teaching staff for the Spring Semester. He will be teaching New Testament History and Literature. Please help us welcome Dusty!!
Dusty has an insatiable hunger and love for God's Word. He believes the Word of God is the dynamic unparalleled power to heal, deliver, and forgive sins. He is anointed to preach and teach with relevance to this generation.
Dusty is a graduate of Zion Bible College; now Northpoint Bible College He served as president of his class and was valedictorian. After graduating from Zion, He moved to Waxahachie, Texas and served as a dorm pastor at Southwestern Assemblies of God University for three years. Dusty completed his Master's degree in theological studies at SAGU and is currently working on his second Master’s degree at Regent University.
He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He and his wife Chantal raise two beautiful children together and faithfully serve as the Lead Pastors at Gateway Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.
