There are some things, we cannot change; One being time. WE cannot get it back, we cherish it, yet it slips away, but we CAN go forward and reflect change in the time we have not accrued yet.
Twas the first part of December, when at the event center.
The Ladies Christmas party & devotional brought lots of fun; fellowship; food and a barrell of laughs.
All the tables were decorated the ladies hung around in cheer, Hoping Sis. Carver; would be able to expound, and we could soon hear.
The mini lesson on "imitate me as I imitate Christ" was one we will not soon forget.
Will you come next year? If Christ has not returned yet?
Bro. and Sis. Wagner brought the youth together to have fun. One with another, and see what they could keep from the gift table.

Gary Courtney was raised and grew up at the very end of South Kings Highway in the Buchanan community.
October of 1972 at a Revival Methodist at Buchanan Methodist the Reverend Billy Thomas was preaching & the title of his message was "Do you know the way home"
Softly and Tenderly was the altar call song.
I felt the Spirit tugging. I responded, and Thank God I did!
I still live in Texarkana on the same farm where I was raised. In 1987 after I had received the baptism in the Holy Ghost, God called me to preach.
In 1987 Brother Sam Stafford, at the Methodist Church, was my mentor teaching me how to study the Bible.
Br. Sam came to me and told me God had spoke to him "to turn the Bible study over to you"
I've been teaching since 1987.
God had moved sister Linda and I over to Faith Assembly and brother McDonald and the Deacons had been praying about doing a community Bible study.
When Sister Linda and I moved to Faith, the first week~ bro McDonald had told me what they had been praying about and asked if I would be willing to teach the Bible study.
I told him absolutely and he responded
"I know you're the one, because if you would have told me you had to pray about it, I would have known that you were not the one"
It all started from there at Faith Assembly
They had plenty of people at Faith that could teach it, but God had a plan.
I have been self-employed for 40 years as a plumber and October of 26th I will be in the plumbing trade 50 years.
God has truly blessed my business and I might add it's actually His business and I really work for him.
God has given me a Pulpit in hundreds upon hundreds of homes over the last 40 years.
I have reached more people I believe for Jesus in the plumbing industry, than I could have behind the physical pulpit.
Linda & I were blessed with a Son and a Daughter. Four awesome grandchildren~our equalizers; two boys and two girls.
Probably the most fulfillment of teaching is the honor of being able to handle and expound on God's word knowing that as students of Jesus Christ, we're being conformed into the very image of God's son through the sanctifying work of the word of God.
