We Lead as we Follow...

Church scenes collage: People interacting, hugging, reading, and listening; text invites,
Beginning with Family Sunday pastor and First Lady brought the invitation to us of what their vision for Faith Assembly is for 2026. “Lead Well.”
If we follow Jesus He will Lead well. We learn HOW we follow. If we work for Jesus we; in turn will Lead well.

In case you didn't remember:

Monday evenings the Landreth’s lead an “addiction and recovery” support group, so if you know someone that may be struggling; this would be a great opportunity to let the recovery class lead You, and help support you to LEAD and LIVE a victorious life.

The first Tuesday night Bible study, as you well know is lead by bro. Gary, but fell during the ACTS 6:4 conference, in Texarkana; this year. The conference was, as usual, a great filling station with loads of encouragement taken home by each person that participated. To “Lead Well.”

As I’m writing the January recap;

I’m enjoying the warmth and blessings of surviving the “snowmageddon” of the last few days.

We all have survived snow; sketchy electricity at the church; which created a “service dismissal” last weekend for both services. Even this midweek service had to be in the dismissal category!

Let’s pray the sound system survived that sketchy electric too! Who likes to “Lead well” with no sound? And in the dark? It Does not make a good combination.

If you’ve not gotten to attend any of the youth services on the 3rd Sunday evening of every month; you will want to come and see what all you’ve been missing!

In January; bro. Jeremy Bohn brought the word, along with his little family, to minister to our youth. The Lord is “ Leading our youth Well”

The Wagner’s.

I asked bro. Wagner and Sis. Shelley to expound on some of my interview questions.

I hope you will let them know, how much we appreciate them for Leading our Youth, in the paths of righteousness.

1. Where did you grow up?  Just outside of Chicago, Illinois. Did YOU know we had a northerner in our midst and are THANKFUL for them!

2. When did you get saved? Friday, March 13th, 1992

That birthday for being BORN AGAIN, is coming up. It's a day a Christian will never forget.

3. Do you live in Texarkana?  We currently live in Fouke

4. When were you called to preach? Summer of 1995 is when I surrendered.

5. What made you take on the youth pastor role?

After much praying and seeking the Lord's will we felt His direction to come to Faith Assembly and accept the position of youth pastor.

In addition to the love and passion we have always had to see young people grow in the Lord.

6. Do you work a secular job?  Not currently, however, I do several things to help supplement my income.

7. Do you have children? Yes, 3 of them!

Two which gave already gone home to be with Jesus! Soon and very Soon I believe we will be with them And with us in ministry is 14 year old Hunter.

8. What is the most fulfilling part of being a youth pastor?

As it is with most ministers, the most fulfilling part of being a youth pastor is watching young people experience a move of God in their lives, and seeing them live for Him.

Thank you Bro. Wagner; Sis. Shelley and Hunter for being willing to "LEAD"
